Linocut Print on paper
$235 framed, $85 unframed
As an experimental artist, choosing a printmaking technique that unfamiliar to me was important. I gravitated towards linocuts, because the process requires a certain amount of physicality as negative space is removed from the matrix. Working under magnification allowed me to render the fine detail in the coat of the jerboa, a hopping desert animal whose anatomy mimics a miniature kangaroo.
